EvaluationsHub offers a Salesforce integration as part of its enterprise package, enabling organizations that use Salesforce as their CRM to synchronize account data between the two platforms. This integration eliminates the need for manual data entry by allowing you to import your Salesforce accounts directly into EvaluationsHub, ensuring that your supplier and customer records stay aligned with your CRM data.
This article explains what the Salesforce integration does, how it is set up, and how to use it to import accounts into EvaluationsHub.
The Salesforce integration is available to customers on the Enterprise Plan. Like all ERP and CRM integrations offered by EvaluationsHub, the Salesforce connection is configured on demand by the EvaluationsHub integration team in collaboration with your organization. It is not a self-service connection — setup requires coordination with your Salesforce administrator and the EvaluationsHub technical team to ensure the integration is correctly authorized and scoped to your data.
To request the Salesforce integration or to learn more about what is involved in the setup process, contact your EvaluationsHub account manager or the customer success team.
Once the Salesforce integration is active on your account, it allows you to pull account records from Salesforce directly into EvaluationsHub's account management system. This means that the companies you track as customers or suppliers in Salesforce can be brought into EvaluationsHub without having to recreate them manually or via a spreadsheet import.
The integration is particularly useful for organizations that:
— Maintain a large and frequently updated list of accounts in Salesforce that would be time-consuming to import manually.
— Want to ensure that the accounts being evaluated in EvaluationsHub reflect the same universe of accounts tracked in the CRM.
— Need to onboard new accounts into EvaluationsHub quickly when they are created in Salesforce.
Once the Salesforce integration is configured for your account, you can access the Salesforce import option from within the Account Management section of EvaluationsHub. The import workflow is similar to the Excel bulk import but draws data directly from Salesforce rather than from a file.
To import accounts from Salesforce:
1. Navigate to Account Management from the left sidebar.
2. Click the Add Account button or the import option in the top-right area of the accounts list.
3. Select Import from Salesforce from the available import methods.
4. Authenticate with Salesforce if prompted (you may be redirected to a Salesforce login page to authorize the connection).
5. Choose the accounts you wish to import. Depending on your integration configuration, you may be able to search, filter, or select accounts from a list retrieved from your Salesforce organization.
6. Confirm the import. EvaluationsHub will create the selected accounts in the platform using the data from Salesforce.
Accounts imported from Salesforce follow the same structure as accounts added manually or via Excel import. Once in EvaluationsHub, they can be assigned to evaluations, linked to consultants, and managed through the standard account management workflows.
During the integration setup, the EvaluationsHub team works with your organization to define how Salesforce fields map to EvaluationsHub account fields. Standard fields such as account name, industry, country, and contact information are typically mapped as part of the default configuration. Custom fields or non-standard Salesforce objects may require additional mapping work during the setup phase.
The integration is designed to bring data in from Salesforce into EvaluationsHub. Changes made to accounts in EvaluationsHub after import are not automatically written back to Salesforce — the integration is a one-directional data pull unless a bidirectional sync has been specifically configured as part of your enterprise arrangement.
Depending on how the integration is configured, account synchronization can be performed on demand (by triggering a manual import) or on a scheduled basis (automatically at defined intervals). The frequency and trigger mechanism for synchronization are agreed upon during the integration setup and can be adjusted as your needs evolve.
If you need to update the synchronization schedule, add new fields to the mapping, or extend the integration to cover additional Salesforce objects, contact the EvaluationsHub support or customer success team to discuss the change.
If you encounter issues with the Salesforce import — such as authentication failures, missing accounts, or unexpected data in imported records — the first step is to verify that the Salesforce connection is still authorized. OAuth tokens used to connect to Salesforce can expire or be revoked if a Salesforce administrator changes permissions in your organization.
Common issues and suggested actions:
Authentication error when importing: Re-authorize the Salesforce connection by following the import flow and logging in to Salesforce again. If the issue persists, contact EvaluationsHub support.
Accounts not appearing in the import list: Check whether the connected Salesforce user account has visibility over the accounts you expect. Salesforce sharing rules and record-level permissions can affect which records are returned.
Incorrect or missing field data after import: This may indicate a field mapping issue. Contact the EvaluationsHub team to review and update the field mapping configuration.
Duplicate accounts created: If the same account is imported multiple times, EvaluationsHub may create duplicates if the account's unique identifier was not preserved across imports. Contact support to review deduplication settings.
Salesforce is one of several CRM and ERP systems that EvaluationsHub can integrate with on demand as part of the Enterprise Plan. If your organization uses a different CRM or ERP — such as HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or another platform — the EvaluationsHub team can scope and build a custom integration to meet your requirements. Contact your account manager to discuss your integration needs and to get a timeline and effort estimate for a custom connection.
